Oh yeah!
Paid To Click Sites or PTC are popping out like cute mushrooms! And they’re everywhere!
A lot of people are realizing the potential in the PTC business and are taking advantage of this opportunity.
This is good news for the PTC industry.
But BAD news to PTC clickers!
Why?

One word ………………………………… SCAM!
The PTC industry has become a haven for scammers. And boy! There are lots of them.
Why is that?
For $25 you can have your own script and start a PTC site. Just get a good hosting and your good to go. Even high school kids are able to have their own PTC sites. Can you believe that?
The problem is, most of these PTC site owners or “admins” don’t know squat about running a PTC site. They don’t have a real business model to sustain their sites.
Here you are clicking your way to earn online on a “Trusted” PTC site and all of a sudden – POOF! The site disappears with your hard-earned clicks. And worse – you just lost money buying into an upgrade! Boohoo!
It hurts! I know the feeling!
But still I’m clicking!
I’m still earning from these PTC sites even with the proliferation of these PTC scams!
More than a year of clicking has taught me to identify these would be PTC scams. It is not as hopeless as a lot of naysayers are well …… saying.
Just keep this pointers in mind:
- Look at the design. Looks neat and profesional? Good! If you notice that a PTC site’s design looks generic and looks the same as the other new ones, then most likely the owner does not want to spend on design because he has no plans of staying for long. So ……………. run! ………….it’s a future PTC scam!
- Read the name. ScumBux …. OutBux …. MailBux …. if the name sounds suspicious or quite misplaced then …………….run! ……………it’s a future PTC scam!
- How much do they pay? If a PTC site pays you $10 for 1000 ads clicked but advertisers only pay the PTC site $5 for 1000 clicks, then this is a BIG problem! The business model is wrong and not sustainable. Don’t waste time ………….. run! ………….it will soon be a PTC scam!
- So you are clicking like crazy! Why? The PTC site offers lots of ads to click. But wait! $25 minimum to cash out? Well my friend, before you reach this payout, the PTC site may have already gone scam and you’re left bleeding after all the effort. So to be safe ………….. stay away from this type of PTC site ………….. it will be a PTC scam!
- Does the site have a forum? Make it a habit to visit forums or fora before joining a PTC site. When members begin complaining about payment delays, admin not responding or site is always down – then most likely the site is on it’s way down! So what do you do? Stay away ………. run! ………..it’s going to be a PTC scam!
- A technical word (for me at least) – Due Diligence or DD. Part of doing a DD is to check the WhoIs domain check. Here you will see the name of the owner, phone and address. If the owner’s name is associated with any scam activity then you know how his PTC site will turn up to be. So ………… walk away ………… it’s a PTC scam in the making!
There are more reasons that raise red flags but I cannot remember them all right now … hehe. But sometimes all it takes is gut feel.
If it smells fishy …… then there probably is a dead fish!
So before you venture into the PTC world – be very careful!
I will not tell you to walk away though……
Luckily for you I have made all the mistakes already! So it makes the PTC world a lot safer for you!
